Yep, the controversial design touch was the biggest talking point about the device, simply for our money, IT doesn't detract from the stunning performance.
It's hard to minimise what a game-changer the new 2022 MacBook Pro is for pro creatives – it's already seized the top spot in our around-up of the best laptops for graphic designers, and those M1 Pro and M1 Max chips are faster than anything we've ever seen. Oh, and that ProMotion display is simply splendid – notch or no notch.
iPad
Along with the iMac, Apple also introduced a game-changing new generation of iPads. Spell the 2022 iPad Pro looks pretty much the same As last year's on the open-air (leave out for the 12.9-inch model's super-bright new LED display), it's what on the inside that counts here. None of us were expecting the M1 chip to make its way to the iPad, merely Orchard apple tree surprised us with a seriously significant rise to the specs of its top-end tablet.
And another of Apple's oft-unnoticed products was given a long-overdue update this year. The iPad mini has finally been given the each-cover design handling, joining its big siblings, the Send and Pro, with Apple Pencil 2 support and a bland-edged design. We'Re huge fans of the tiny device and delighted to see it finally look care it belongs in 2022.
iPhone
