Substantial article of clothing and tear with the wire at the trunk causing the center stop low-cal to become off. Had to weld the wire at the mechanical shop to get the light performance again. It was not the calorie-free bulbs that accident, but the wire connecting them that was torn off. Anyway, hatchbacks with frequent shutting of the body exacerbates the problem.

Kickoff fourth dimension, the automobile would "hunt" while idling, then intermittently die or non outset after driving for a while. In unseasonably warm Nov weather (which seems a clue now). The electrics came on but the auto would not start. The radio was "reset" each time this happened. Eventually it would outset but was inconvenient as information technology could dice anywhere. Dealer took automobile in and checked it out for several days before getting information technology to exercise the same thing (no error code?) ... and replaced computer.

Second time (and this seems the same just might not be!) this started happening during hot weather, "hunting" during idle, then upon stopping vehicle it would not offset and electrics "reset"... left overnight, car started fine. Several weeks later, I noticed an odd sound over the radio like interference, the Ac was cranked full on, in 90 degree weather. Stopped for gas and auto would not start, same symptoms and the bank check engine, battery, and oil lights glowed steady. Waited for machine to cool downwards in shade but it wouldn't starting time, had to have it towed.

I have a 2007 ford focus ii.0 engine. When I went to work yesterday, everything was fine and when I got off everything was fine. So I arrived at the store terminal night and came back out, I tried to crank the damn auto it wouldn't start but all the lights, rut, radio, lights console, and everything else came on. I am pissed as hell crusade I take already spent and so much money on this automobile this year. I tried to crank it upwards over and over once again. Subsequently trying to crank it up for the fifth or 6th times, it cranked. I arrived domicile finally and I cutting it off. I tried to creepo it up once more but it wouldn't do nothing. I am so pissed every bit hell correct now cause like I said I have spent so much money already. Early on this month I spent 400 on a hub, seal and assembly for the front right wheel. This will be my last ford.

Focus SES

  • Automatic transmission
  • 38,840 miles

FOR GOODNESS SAKES, IT'South TWO YEARS OLD......!!!!!!!!! Thousand....I use my dad'southward 2007 Ford Focus SES iv-door sedan to go to work every unmarried day. It's a total of almost 30 miles a day. The total mileage right now is a fiddling over 38,800. I've been true-blue to give it routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, visual inspections, etc., etc.) Well, most a calendar month and a half ago, I went to beginning my automobile after work and it merely fabricated a popping audio and wouldn't start for anything. And so, my boss was kind enough to jump start my car a full of iii times. Afterwards everytime, it would die. After the final try, he went to put it in reverse and information technology just shook, the lights and radio flickered on and off and then it died out. So, we had to telephone call for a tow and had a private mechanic take a look at information technology. Later several hours, he chosen and said it was ready. We went to become pick it upwardly and he said that all it was was a totally dead battery. So, later on a new battery and $200, the Focus was on the road once again. Well, just yesterday, my car decided it wanted to exist a pain in the a$$ once more. After educational activity my mother how to drive for around ane to i and a one-half hours in an empty parking lot, I noticed something strange going on with the car. The air conditioner was set at max and at the coldest setting just within seconds it was barely pushing out any air. And the air information technology was pushing out was hot! Right away I knew that something wasn't right. So, I told my mom nosotros should call it a day and went dorsum to the drivers side so I could bulldoze u.s. home. Only, I noticed then that the AM radio was on and information technology sounded very static-like. That really told me something was going awry considering no 1 in that car e'er touched the radio. I decided to tell my husband what was going on since he was at that place in the parking lot with us in some other automobile. So, he came over and turned off the engine...so tried to get-go it. Sure enough, it was dead! Nosotros were pissed off! We had toasted a brand new battery within 2 months. So, that leaves me to believe that it is the alternator. Another possibility is bad wiring. Eversince my dad has owned this pre-owned Focus, the CD player has really been "one with the car". Anytime yous play a CD and advance, the book automatically goes upward. And whenever yous slow down, the volume lowers itself. It's very foreign merely nosotros're wondering now if everything is somehow linked. Either way, the car is way too new to be having mechanical malfunctions like this. Don't get me wrong, I love this car. It's sporty and meaty. Information technology handles beautifullly and can restriction on a dime. But, for crying out loud, it'southward not even at fifty,000 miles notwithstanding! Does anyone maybe accept an idea of what information technology could be???

I personally found it FASCINATING (sarcasm, anyone?) that in December of 2007 we had to accept the alternator replaced in an '07 vehicle!!! RIDICULOUS! And I'm just posting this as we take it in the shop AGAIN, for the same problem, just SW Ford in W'ford, TX is telling us they can't find anything wrong. Y'all tin read more about it on my adjacent complaint! DON'T purchase a Ford Focus. If yous do, GOOD LUCK.

This is complaint TWO on the same '07 Ford Focus. Had alternator replaced 12/11/07, alternator has warranty of 12 months or 12000 miles, I'm thinking Yes nosotros are still under warranty (barely). Well, husband was driving when bombardment light came on several days ago, and he idea, well, the alternator was JUST replaced 7 months ago, correct? Possibly corrosion on cables, no large. Then after a doc appt (and no great news there, to make a bad sitch even WORSE), it started kind of "jumping", then all the elec went out, so when he tried to roll upwardly the window it died. And then, nosotros had it towed to a Good Year, who then informed us it'southward the alt. Since it'south the alt, and then Ford should pay for it, so we have information technology towed to Ford. Now they are trying to tell usa in that location is zip wrong (mayhap considering if nosotros bring information technology habitation and drive about 600 mi, WE will have to pay for the repair?). I will NEVER buy some other Ford. I am SOOOO not happy about this. If and when we effigy all this out, and if I can I'll post some other annotate or something letting anyone know how it worked out, simply equally it stands nosotros're being screwed around by the Ford people. Promise they recall the piece of doodie.

When being used on a patrol for our security company, the vehicle stopped and when attempted to restart, it just clicked. The vehicle was jumped and taken to Ford for repair. The battery became bad as a result of a faulty alternator. The vehicle mind yous only had fifteen,000 miles on information technology. This was one of iv problems (was iii previously) reported to this website on the 2007 Ford Focus.

I bought a make new 2007 Ford Focus from our military car sales here in Europe and after less than 10 days and under 500 miles the car DIED!!! Volition Not START JUST CLICKS. Garage here in Italy says they can fix it however I am not sure.

I wish Ford Motor Company would give me my money back so I could buy another American auto such every bit a Contrivance.

I am then sick of this. Anyone have any clues as to why the secure lock is in identify (keeping the auto from starting)?

Whatever clues would exist nice and at present since it'south the holidays I take to wait until January eighth 2007 before it goes to the store.

I am pissed I need a car that is dependable considering I drive 70+ miles a day.
